OUR STORY
Krueger’s Candy was established in 1955 in Wildwood New Jersey. From the early beginning this has been, and continues to be a family owned and operated business. Ron Krueger and his wife Joan ran the company along with Ron's parents. As the Krueger family grew, their children, Carol, Tammy and Drew helped in the business. Carol and Tammy have since married, started their own families and pursued other careers. In 2008, Ron and Joan moved to North Carolina where Ron and his son Drew worked side by side running the candy business as well as the candy equipment business until Ron passed away in January of 2017. Drew, Tracy, and Drew's sons have opened Krueger’s candy store in lovely Historic Downtown Wilson in the building formerly known as Wilson Hardware in front of the Wilson County Courthouse. Their specialty is candy making and making smiles. The cozy feeling of a family owned candy store coupled with all the sweet delicious scents you know and love make this store a big hit with customers both near and far. The jovial conversations and friendly atmosphere with all the beautiful colors makes you want to stay and chat a spell. Their seasonal options are always changing and the classic candies are always ready to be tasted and enjoyed by everyone of all ages. Come visit them anytime!! .
